Review: Can't get blood out of veins...should include troubleshooting guide - I ordered this kit to get me through my Phlebotomy class before I have to do an actual blood draw on another student. This has been a great practice arm for tying the tourniquet, and it comes with all the necessary tools to do a blood draw. However, so far, I have not been able to get blood out of the arm into the evacuated tube. I checked all the tubing, valves, every video and chart I can find but so far I'm stumped. I wish it came with a troubleshooting guide. I'm not even sure if I should be able to actually simulate a blood draw, but it only makes sense that I woiuld be able to, given that it has tubes going in and out of the arm. Other than that, at least I have real needles and tubes to actually do a fake blood draw.
