The bumpers have all faded. Simply wipe this on with a cloth, no technique required or anything. Wait an hour or so, wipe a little more to even it out and here you can wipe off any excess and it gives a lovely dark colour back to your faded plastic bumpers. All in it took 20 mins, not including the hour wait obviously and s few months later it still looks great. I've had to use a tiny tiny fraction of the bottle to do all the trim and there's a lot of it on this car. I'll never use all that oil using it at this rate. Has anyone else had this problem and got a solution?** A: Same here - just had to wrap a towel around the top and grip it between my teeth and rotate the bottle - no chance of doing it the normal way i.e. push down and twist. **Q: Is this suitable to for metal firepit?** A: yes it is fine. again using a cloth with the oil on it. I had hoped and expected "Boiled" linseed oil to have a High Gloss finish.
