My tortoise loves this but everyone tells me this food is rubbish for them. Is there any proof that it is good for a tortoise?

Is this pellets? If so what colour are they as my tortoise is very fussy?

they are very small balls. i have 2 torts. 1 likes it dry and the other wet. depending on which flavour you buy depends on the colour. dandelion is a light red whereas fruit and flower is green. its a great suppliment in addition to fresh fruit veg salad abd garden weeds. ive purchased a lot of the feed from this company.

Hi, my Tortoise Bertie is 5 years old and munches though it even when he's in his table tank over winter, as he doesn't hibernate, in the summer he is happier in the garden eating what he can.  It makes me laugh hearing him crunching through his Komodo food.  even with his heat lamp on, the food does not go off, sometimes I see its a bit dusty as he crunches it up...so flaky bits let over do go in the bin as I see he cant eat that, but only once a month.  The last box I got him was 4 months ago and it's still fine as it's dry and in a lidded pot....Fab discovery as chopped veg for him dried fast so binned as he wont eat that! Brilliant buy and great value Bertie is a Marginated Tortoise, not nearly 3.lbs too so  Any questions please ask if you want to......Kathryn - Bertie's owner

dose anyone know if this could be fed to snails.

unsure sorry... it's specially made or torts - I guess it depends on the type of snail. If it's a run of the mill garden one... I reckon so because they are mostly herbivorous and need lots of calcium - like a lot of torts. But other snails need more protein in their diet. I hope this helps. :)
