What I wanted
I was looking for the non-LED version of this torch in this size, with 2 x AAA batteries & light enough to carry around in my handbag. This was as a replacement for an earlier version of this torch which I could no longer find in the shops here in the UK. On receiving it, however, I discovered that there is a spare bulb built into the base of the defunct torch. And I eventually tracked down a UTube video showing me how to extract the replacement bulb fit (fiddly!) and fit it into the broken torch. So I now have 2 of these torches that work! I don't, however, regret the replacement. The LED version is also fine & is indeed brighter, but provides a harsher light.

Quality and efficiency
Neat pocket size torch at good price.
User
Good item but smaller than I realised
It's good and quite powerful but thought it would be bigger
User
Compact, in pocket size.
Very handy. Works well but please ensure that batteries are removed if torch is to be left unused for a long period as the usual DIY solutions for removing corroded batteries from it,in such a confined space are not always successful.

Aviator essentials.
Great torch that fits in a standard issue flying suit and is plenty powerful for external aircraft turn around checks in the dark. Handy to have in your car too. Very well made.
