I installed the fan in the loft, cut 102mm diameter hole in the ceiling to take 100mm air valve and connected the air valve to the fan using 100mm PVC flexible ducting. I installed a back draught shutter on the output side of the fan and then used 100mm PVC flexible ducting to connect to outside world. The system works a treat.
