Is there a tethering to cellphone option for this device?

AP One AC Mini doesn't have a USB port to support cellphone tethering (Android Phone). Also, this model does not support Wi-Fi Tethering. We suggest you may pick SOHO MK3 for USB tethering (Android phone) & Wi-Fi WAN. https://www.peplink.com/products/pepwave-surf-soho/

How long is the length of AC adapter cord?

Hello RA - the power cord is 4.5' long. Thanks and let us know if you have any other questions.

The network conenction to ap one ac mini must necessarily be poe or the regular one is supported with help of an ac adapter?

It can be either. Using the supplied power adapter works fine without using poe.

Can this only be used with a peplink router? If not, what router specs should I shop for?

We strongly suggest you use the AP One AC Mini with Peplink router as you can use InControl 2, our cloud-based endpoint management system, to manage your whole network set-up. The AP One AC Mini is a 802.11ac Wave 2 access point. AP One AC Mini requires an AC Input 100V-240V, or DC Output 12V, or 802.3af PoE power input.
