**Q: can this be usec when you are 50 years old**
A: Yes you can. The study the manufacturer did was of guys 18 to 49, so they're basically covering their arses by saying they haven't tested it with guys our age. You pays your money, you takes your choice.

**Q: Is this good for patchy facial hair?**
A: It has been used by some for this and seemingly with results; look on youtube there are plenty of vids where people have applied it topically to their faces. But it's not what this was designed or tested for so usual caveats about it being at your own risk etc apply.
