Auto-Wash is anti-corrosive and suitable for bare steel also, ideal for owners of older vehicles which may have stone chips or exposed areas of mild steel. This is also an advantage in modern cars where the entrapment of corrosive elements carried by some detergents in folded seams accelerates the corrosion. Auto-Wash is very highly-concentrated, meaning that much less solution is needed to add to the water. Not only do you save money, but the added benefit of this is simple – there is less matter to remove from your paintwork prior to polishing. Auto-Wash will chamois off with ease to leave a perfectly clean body, ready for further treatment. In fact, a single shampoo can be carried out with just a single teaspoon of auto-wash, meaning one wash will cost you around 16p! Auto-Wash uses powerful surfactants to create a high foam level. This simply means that particulate matter is lifted away from the paint, where it can be safely removed with reduced risk of scratching or damage to your car’s paintwork. Auto-Wash is quite simply the best car shampoo out there Ingredients Car Shampoo ## Features - Up to 60 washes from one bottle - Highly concentrated - Contains no colourants, waxes, perfumes or thickeners - Gently lifts dirt away - Only 5ml needed per bucket ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002OHXY96 | | ASIN | B002OHXY96 | | Best Sellers Rank | 3,815 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 76 in Automotive Cleaners | | Brand Name | Bilt Hamber | | Contains Liquid Contents? | Yes | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (911) | | Customer reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (911) | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00721315283628 | | Is discontinued by manufacturer | No | | Item Form | Liquid | | Item Volume | 500 Millilitres | | Item Weight | 0.38 Kilograms | | Item model number | BHAW | | Manufacturer | Bilt Hamber | | Manufacturer | Bilt Hamber | | Material Features | Eco-Friendly | | Material Type Free | Dye Free | | Model Number | BHAW | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | BHAW | | Product Dimensions | 7.62 x 7.62 x 12.7 cm; 380 g | | Scent | Hamber | | Size | 300 ml (Pack of 1) | | Special Features | Concentrated | | Specific Uses For Product | Car | | Surface Recommendation | Metal | | UPC | 643690381686 765829559206 721315283628 | | Unit Count | 300.0 millilitre | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bilt Hamber - **Item form:** Liquid - **Item volume:** 500 Millilitres - **Material Type Free:** Dye Free - **Material feature:** Eco-Friendly - **Scent:** Hamber - **Special feature:** Concentrated - **Specific uses for product:** Car - **Surface recommendation:** Metal - **Unit count:** 300.0 millilitre ## Images ![Auto Wash Car Shampoo (500ml) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51VpBb+OpWL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Is this a weekly wash shampoo as it seems to suggest in the description that its a pre polishing shampoo? Also, is it PH neutral?** A: I use it when car needs a wash. Quick soak first, then Bilt Hamber to prevent scratching as dirt washed away. Final rinse and leather.I use barely a capful to a bucket of water and this lasts the whole wash. Squeeze out sponge in a separate bucket of water to keep shampoo water clean, ('Australian Method!' see you tube)The car has kept its brilliant shine through quite a few washes now, which confirms it does not damage paintwork or remove wax too quickly and is pH neutral. **Q: can i use this shampoo now i have got gen3 glasscoat on my car or will shampoo wash it off in time** A: Hi. This shampoo is very mild and ph neutral. Diluted as per instructions it will not affect your coating ( its a very good shampoo by the way ) Jon. Dvs car care. **Q: Is this prodict PH neutral?** A: Hello, Bilt Hamber Auto Wash is indeed PH Neutral and wax/sealant safe. Thanks, James. **Q: Do i need seperate alloy wheel cleaner?** A: What you need to clean wheels is Autoglym's Engine and Machine Cleaner. It's better than any dedicated wheel cleaning product I've tried (including Bilt Hamber's, and I'm a huge fan of their stuff) )and as a bonus you can clean your engine bay with it too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bilt Hamber Auto Wash Car Shampoo (500ml) - Bilt Hamber BH-AW1 Auto Wheel Cleaner,1 Litre - Bilt Hamber Auto Foam (5 Litre) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/47947197-auto-wash-car-shampoo-500ml](https://www.desertcart.no/products/47947197-auto-wash-car-shampoo-500ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
