Okay first things first, some people may unbox these and try them out only to find out that they suddenly disapoint because it starts making a scratchy or loud fuzzy noise, however do not worry because something I discovered on my own is that these speakers can not run off power directly from the usb on your computer. It is important that you use a usb brick connected directly into the wall to provide enough power for the speakers (The reason why the sound occurs). This will fix that annoying high pitched noise easily, but if you are expecting something to be portable then these speakers are not for you unless you have a sort of portable powerbank. The sound quality is reasonable for $8 (Currently the price) however I'm not sure about $20 for these you can probably find something that will sound better. You can't expect much from budget computer speakers so if you are on a tight budget then these are perfect.

Works fine for my needs.

They aren't the best speakers out there, but for the price, you can't beat em. Only gripe is that they can make an annoying buzzing noise when plugged into certain computers; you can fix it by plugging these directly into an outlet with a usb adapter, but still, you'd think that wouldn't be an issue these days. Overall, not a bad speaker, but if you have the money I would buy something of a little higher quality.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The sound was HORRIBLE! There was constant electrical feedback noise. To tope it off the speakers broke within 2 months, the power button stopped working. It was past the window of return, so I took it apart and found that the solder connection broke. Cheap garbage! I'm just glad they weren't very expensive, I was only trying to get basic speakers for my office computer. I believe the noise feedback was due to the fact it's USB powered. I ended up getting a cheap set from Big Lots and it was 10 times better at half the cost. Most stuff on Amazon is high quality but this was one of the worst. DO NOT BUY!

I bought these speakers almost a year ago now, and they've been working just fine, but based on how cheap these speakers are, there are a few issues that make me feel like the low price makes sense. First off, for some reason when I put my phone anywhere near either speaker while they are plugged into my PC, they start making a weird popping or static noise that gets louder the closer my phone gets. Very strange, very annoying. Secondly, the headphone plug in port not only lowers the sound volume and quality in the headphones, but also gives a permanent popping/static effect similar to the first issue, but with a high pitched screeching noise as well. Finally, the speaker's cables are really obnoxious to use due to the speakers being connected to each other, and then also connected to the two ports (the USB and the audio port cables) that runs into my PC. Very annoying to store and take out without tangling wires and having little to no space apart between the speakers, due to the short length of the cord. Overall, the speakers aren't very great, but they are definitely worth the cheap price tag. Having a monitor that doesn't have speakers (for whatever reason LG has for that) was not very fun, and these speakers definitely fixed that, despite all the issues. They work perfectly fine other than the issues above, and I use them a lot. Solid 6/10

Sound wise with music or whatever... They sound great. But.... when the computer is sitting idle, I have to turn the speakers off because they make so much noise. Between a high pitch squeal and a constant crackle sound, they aren't worth it. It's not just my pc either, everything I plug them into has the same white noise type annoyance

Great Product

When I first used the product, I noticed it had less power than the speakers it was replacing. That was fine. These speakers were less expensive. However, the power button became excessively sensitive. By 1 month of use, the on/off switch had to be carefully pushed and I had to keep a book pushed against the switch to keep the power connection live. I purchased this product less than 2 months ago and I am replacing it. You get what you pay for here.

well balanced sound .very sleek

They work wonderfully. My only complaint is the noise you hear in them while wearing ear phones. Other than that, they're good for a cheaper speaker.
