When you need clear, precise scribe lines on your workpiece, this is the stuff that does the job properly. The coverage is excellent - a 4oz bottle goes a long way, and it applies evenly with a nice, thin coating. Dries quickly enough that you're not sat around waiting, and the blue colour provides brilliant contrast against most metals. Your scribed lines show up absolutely crisp and clear, which is exactly what you need when you're working to tight tolerances on a manual lathe. Now, here's the important bit: wear gloves. This fluid stains like you wouldn't believe. Get it on your hands and you'll be walking around with blue fingers for days. I learned that the hard way early on. It's proper industrial stuff, not some watered-down hobby product, and it behaves accordingly. The 4oz bottle is a handy size - not so small you're constantly running out, but compact enough to keep near the lathe without it getting in the way.If you're doing any serious layout work or machining, this is simply the best tool for the job. Just keep a box of disposable gloves nearby and you'll be golden. Well, blue actually, but you know what I mean.Highly recommended for anyone doing precision metalwork. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blue fluid *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 June 2026* It's blue, it's fluid, and it works for layout. What more could you ask for. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/478203294-layout-fluid-steel-blue-4-oz](https://www.desertcart.no/products/478203294-layout-fluid-steel-blue-4-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
