no ul symbol, get smoking when charging., will you buy?

Works great for me without any problem or overheating. I was worried that might not be compatible, as some other chargers were reported to be, but it is compatible with the Surface 3. Have been using it for approximately 1 1/2 years, and has been plugged into the Surface 3 for months to keep fully charged. No problems with overcharging. Would purchase again.

Purchased from Amazon in September, worked until yesterday. Product description says it has a one year warranty and to contact customer service. how?
