1L Original Ocean Bottle

I was researching reusable water bottles inspecting the highly rated options. Then I came across this company; curious about what they offered a 1L or 500ML options, with a cardboard packaging and and a chance to not only stop using one time use water bottles and additionally help with the cut down and a donation to clean up the bottles. The down side was minimum reviews but great reviews with a 4.9 rating. I decided to give it a try. I received it later in the week and I immediately tested the leak proof, sweat proof, and hot and cold features. It passed all the tests and had no issues since I've been using it regularly in the construction field. I need to order another since I run out of water quickly by mid-day. I rate this 5 stars I like the bottle and the features, the price is reasonable. I have no complaints... except when the life ends how do you remove the plastic bottom for a full bottle recycle?

I love this water bottle. Metal interior, a lid to chug from, not just sip; and a second opening for dumping in ice, rather than one piece at a time followed by a whack. It’s my favorite!

Not sure why my previous review and photos never appeared, so I'm posting this again. The bottle has a good-sized drinking opening and does a great job keeping water cold. Unfortunately, the lid design is poor. The seals appear to be low quality, and the gasket seat is not designed well enough to securely retain the seal. As a result, the bottle leaks every time you take a drink, which is frustrating for daily use. If the lid and seal design were improved, this would be a much better product.

I drink a lot of water, which is why I purchased the 1L options. The Rock Grey color actually is a little bit darker than the images, so I bought the Sky Bule instead. The bottle is of good quality and meets all my expectations so far.

I love the mission of the company, which is what spurred me to make the purchase in the first place. However, the bottle is not dishwasher safe as advertised-at least, not in the long term. I put my bottle on the top rack as instructed and the plastic part has warped so badly, the bottle leaks. In addition, my bottle now has a little rattle because their NFC chip came loose and rattles around constantly in the bottom of the bottle. Perhaps I'm too hard on my gear, but I suggest folks buy with caution!

It’s definitely higher quality than others. The idea of the cap and the outside quality is amazing but than ONE THING ruins it entirely. After around 1 day the cap smells horrible I put only water in it and the cap specifically always smells due to it being plastic. From experience with other bottles, avoid plastic top bottles as they end up leaving a smell. And everyone you try drinking it, you smell it. Size is great, but the seal is just in general not great. And isn’t worth the money as they went cheap on the cap.

This bottle is fantastic and actually worth the price. It is easy to clean, keeps my beverage cold/ for the day , and is versatile.

I have been looking for a bottle that has 3 parts like the one that I bought from Starbucks so that I can make my tea and still keep it cold or hot for as long as I need it for. The a best part about this bottle, aside from the size capacity, is that it comes off in a lower section so that you can put your tea bag in there and it will hold it in place even when you drink it. The feel of the outside text is a great feeling in your hands and the lanyard feels like it won't break when holding on to it. Highly recommend and glad I found it!

I like the design and the fast that is made by recycled bottles but it only keep the water hot for 2 hours so I am going to use it for cold water because I don't mind if that gets a bit hot but If I use it for hot water I expect that the water stays hot for at least 5 hours.

Ocean bottles are brilliant. This one however must be faulty. The larger thread keeps leaking.

Très bon produit

Have been using this everyday since it has been delivered - mainly for getting my daily water intake at home, or taking it with me to work/gym. I opted for the larger 1L bottle to be on the safe side. For the time I've used it, its been great. The Ocean Bottle keeps my drinks cold during the day, and my hot drinks nice and warm when out and about. I have not tested the temperature over longer periods of time (i.e +4 hours), so cannot comment on paramount longevity of the drink remaining at the desired temp - but from there description, they are not trying to compete with a proper thermo bottle. So it all depends on your needs if this suits what you want. In fact the website itself advises 'The lid is deliberately not insulated, to avoid drinks staying too hot for too long (you do actually want to drink that coffee, after all) and to keep the bottle lightweight.' One of the main reasons I purchased this was to be able to give it a really good clean at the end of each day. You can split the bottle from the top third, and easily get a large cleaning tool inside. I have not tried this in a dishwasher, and probably wont as it's easy enough to clean in the sink. If you really want to scrub every nook and cranny, you can also remove the inner seals inside the lid and top portion, then place back in when dry. Really happy with this purchase, so much that I have just ordered the 500ml version, mainly because the larger one does not fit in my car holder (not a fault of the product, each car varies). So I can then have different sizes for shorter trips when needed.
