Photochromic Sunglasses

I've had great success with RockBros in general and these sports glasses are no exception. They're very well made, light, comfortable, and they fit my face perfectly. I love the automatic darkening feature. I never really notice it happening, but the changing from light to dark lenses works perfectly. They're plenty dark for bright sun, but if I go inside or if it's a dark day, they never seem too dark. I bought my first pair of RockBros glasses when I realized that I could buy them at about 1/4 to 1/3 the price of just a replacement lens for my Oakleys. I've never regretted buying them or noticed any downside compared to the Oakleys they replaced. This is the 3rd pair of RockBros glasses I've bought in the last few years. It's not because they were defective. I've been very happy with all 3 pair. Both times I needed replacements were my own dumb fault for leaving them behind at a rest stop when I took them off to wipe the sweat off my face. Needless to say, I will start making sure to put them inside my helmet on stops so that I have to put them on in order to be able to put on my helmet. LOL! Very well made and highly recommended sports glasses!

I was surprised when these arrived that they included a rigid case, soft drawstring bag, a lens cleaning cloth, and a myopic frame. Items that weren't advertised as being included, but will be really handy. I am female and the glasses fit perfectly. Not too loose, and just tight enough to stay on while you move but without creating pressure points. They are light weight and the arms lay nice and flat against my head so there are no issues with them being in the way of my helmet or helmet straps. The nose piece can be bent to fit but the material is very sturdy and holds it's shape. The frames wrap nicely and are close enough to the brow to keep out bugs, dust and wind, but open enough at the cheeks to keep from steaming up. The lenses are nice and clear, without waves or scratches. They transition in sunlight quickly and with just enough intensity to match the conditions. Not so dark as to reduce clarity of vision. Just perfect.

These are a good fit for me- I have a small/medium face and often glasses are too wide for my face and look funny sticking out on the sides. Not these. I purchased them for cycling, and although I have only used them a couple times so far, I would say I am happy with them. They grip well, without squeezing or pushing on any specific spots. They seem to breathe well and haven't fogged on me- I have yet to do a big (slow) climb, which is where I usually see fogging problems... light airflow and heavy sweat :-) I will say- PHOTOCHROMIC- I am disappointed they don't transition more. They go from what appears to be perfectly clear, to just a very light smokey grey... but still more clear. They never get anywhere near shaded enough to actually look anything like SUNGLASSES... they always look pretty much like clear or light sports glasses... almost like safety glasses. Bummer there... but for $20 I guess how could they perform like the $100-200 pairs of glasses do? The case, wipe cloth, and soft bag are nice. I actually really like the case! I gave these 4/5 stars because what they do well, they really do well, and if it's super bright out I'll just have to wear actual sunglasses. I was hoping these would be nice for those days where passing clouds make it go from bright sunlight to deep shade and back, when wearing dark sunglasses is less than enjoyable. I guess I'll keep looking... but in the mean time I'll definitely use these on cloudy days or evening rides, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive CLEAR pair of cycling glasses, that also happen to tint just a tad in daylight...

These are absolutely awesome. And they don’t break the bank in price. I bought a pair for my wife and I to ride bicycles. The trails we sometimes ride have a canopy of trees, and these transition fast! Also, on those overcast days when riding in the tree area, it can be really dark. These go clear and are perfect! When out in the sun, they give great protection.

Lost a pair of $200 sunglasses and decided to try a less expensive pair and something photochromatic. I’ve had these 4 months and they’re awesome. It takes a minute for them to get dark in bright sun - less than 2 minutes. Love them for riding through the forest mountain biking, and they’re dark in bright sun. Best news is I carried them in a pocket and they got smushed. Both ear pieces came off. I thought that was the end but figured out the ear pieces just snap right back in! Comfortable to wear. Love these!

Tried it outside for a few minutes. It did get a little dark, but hardly enough for a bright day at all. They were comfortable to wear though. The quality of the lens was strictly OK. Others had mentioned some dots throughout, I noticed similar. Included in the package was this smaller frame which was not in the description at all and no instructions within to tell what they might be for. Noticed in one other review someone had it too so it isn't just in mine. No idea what it might be for. Returning as they are not worth keeping.

I bought these after realizing I still needed some sort of eye protection from bugs and potential low hanging tree branches even when it’s not sunny out. When I put them on today I was concerned they wouldn’t darken enough, BUT I was happily surprised to find out they do. I actually think it’s better that they aren’t as dark as my normal sunglasses so I can see when I’m in tunnels without removing them. They fit well and are very lightweight. Great buy for me!

So the positives. Decent fit for my big head...so thats nice. The weight is nice and I dont feel like I am carrying much on my face. The bad. The tint is non-existent. Even in intense sunlight my pair BARELY gets a tint. Like its barely even helpful at all. On top of that the lenses distort badly that it initially causes and mildly nauseating effect. The lies. The lenses are NOT polarized. Not at all. They claim they are, which was the main reason I wanted these. If you dont know polarization reduces glare, from all kinds of surfaces and adds lots of detail to to darker areas with out out using a darker tint,, it makes things far easier on your eyes. But without polarization these glasses are basically clear lenses. It would be cheaper to just have gotten DOT approved glasses that would offer more protection then these ineffective sunglasses that flat out lie about their features.

Clear glasses protect eyes against flies and dust.

Its useless. Doesnt work. No chromic thingy at all be in sun or night. But again what can you expect from a 1600 rupees glasses

No oscurecen lo suficiente. Descepcionante . Ademas tardan mucho tiempo para cambair la opacidad.

Using for my bike rides instead of my Oakley's - reason? They are photochromatic and I often ride around sunset. Simple functional design with good toning when the sun is out - works for me.

En verdad valen su precio. Solo te digo eso, son los lentes perfectos para rodar en bici.
