Hand-Pulled Noodles Kit

I made the noodles last night; they were so easy and delicious! The noddles were soft and had that perfect amount of chewiness, and the sauce was so flavorful. I made the dough the night before and it was pretty straightforward and simple, and the dough recipe was the perfect amount for two people. I had fun stretching the dough and didn’t have any issues with those steps. However, the strainer basket provided was too big for the pot I had, so I was unable to use it as instructed. I boiled the noodles and was still able to fish out the noodles with the strainer. I really like that the kit came with different recipe options. I choose to stick with the classic chili and Sichuan, but the other recipes sound delicious and I can’t wait to try those out as well. The flavors were great, but I wish there was a little more sauce so I would make extra next time. I was surprised that I didn’t think it was too spicy; next time I would add a little more of the chili flakes and Sichuan pepper. I eat a lot of spicy food so my heat tolerance may be skewed haha. Overall I really enjoyed this kit. The recipe instructions were easy to follow and didn’t leave me guessing or confused at any steps, and the FAQ’s were also informative. The time frame given to make the recipe start to finish was accurate for me as well. Shipping was fast also.

I can't contain my excitement to share my experience with the Noodle Boiling Kitchen Kit. This product has redefined the way I cook noodles, making it an absolute game-changer in my kitchen! Firstly, this kit is impeccably designed and incredibly user-friendly. Every component is well-thought-out, ensuring a hassle-free noodle boiling experience. The equipment provided is just the right size, allowing me to cook the perfect portion of noodles effortlessly. One feature that truly blew me away is the hot oil ladle. Finishing up the noodle with this ladle amplifies the flavor, resulting in perfectly cooked noodles every time. The fresh spices that are included in the box were also well received by our family! What truly sets this kitchen kit apart is its incredible versatility. It's not limited to just noodles! I've used it to cook various other dishes, such as vegetables, spaghetti and even delicate seafood. The possibilities are endless with this all-in-one solution, making it a must-have for any cooking enthusiast. In terms of aesthetics, this kit exudes elegance and sophistication. The sleek design, with its polished stainless-steel kitchenware, adds a touch of modernity to my kitchen countertop. Not only does it perform flawlessly, but it also looks stunningly beautiful.

I've always wanted to try to make hand-pulled noodles and this kit was the perfect option for my novice level. It came with the specialty tools needed, detailed instructions, and recipe cards. (Ingredients not included, so once you get the box make a shopping list based on the recipe you want to make.) I went off script with a favorite spicy sesame peanut sauce. I prepped the dough the night before so my husband and I could pull them together as a date night activity. The results were delicious and we'll definitely make them again with different sauces. Love that we have the tools now. Perfect date activity or friends activity. (Tip: don't skimp on the oil. The dough dried out where I missed oiling it)

I made the hand pulled Noodle kit last night, and it turned out really good. In the beginning, I was a little overwhelmed, reading the directions it seemed like a lot of stops that were very technical but once I was working through it, it was definitely a lot easier than I thought it was going to be and pretty straightforward as to what to do next. Once I got to the steps where I was hand pulling the noodles I did look up a video on YouTube on exactly how to do this and the video I watched, provided a few extra tips and tricks to get the noodles perfect. One frustrating thing I noticed, was with cooking the noodles. I understood how you only needed to cook one noodle at a time and so I did that and filled up two separate bowls of the noodles but by the time I was done cooking the noodles and was adding the aromatics to the bowls and the hot oil. All of my noodles had stuck together. I thought after adding the hot oil that would help break them apart and it did a little bit, but there was definitely still chunks of noodle that were stuck together and I had to get in there with my hands to pull it apart. I think, adding a step in there to dip all of the noodles into boiling water for a second once completed, and then transferring them back to your bowl would’ve helped eliminate the noodles sticking together. I subbed the vegetable oil for coconut oil in about half the recipe. I am not a fan of vegetable oil considering it is the worst type of oil for you. I used vegetable oil to coat the dough/let it rest but used coconut oil for the rest of the recipe.

Overall I thought the kit was pretty good! The noodles were relatively easy to make and follow the directions. I let my noodle dough sit overnight in the fridge and it seemed to work. But, I should have completely submerged them in the oil. I only had to halfway filled so the edges came out rough when I tried to stretch them the next day. Even though they were rough and don’t look perfect they tasted just fine! For the recipes I tried the classic chili Sichuan which was simple to make. I'm it has the ground sichuan pepper because I couldn’t find it anywhere in grocery stores! I don’t think I’ve ever actually had Sichuan pepper before because my mouth was tingling right after I took a bite of the noodles! It did calm down after I let the dish sit for a day but it was a weird mouth feel. This specific recipe could also have used a little sweetness I think because of the bitterness of the oil. I like that the whole process to stretch and cook the noodles didn’t take very long at all. It was easy to follow along.

I was gifted this noodle kit by a foodie friend and I’m SO excited to try it out! My boyfriend and I love cooking and are always looking to try new techniques and cuisines. We’ve really enjoyed Sichuan noodles before but never tried making them ourselves. I was happy to see some new tools in the kit that I didn’t already have in my kitchen (noodle basket, bench scraper, little ladle, sichuan pepper). The recipe cards look super yummy and have a range of spice levels and toppings to try. The instruction booklet looks very organized and easy to follow, with cute illustrations and infographics. It’s very thoughtfully put together. This is going to be a really fun date night or girls night activity that I can’t wait to try!

I’ve used this a couple of times now and each time, the noodles get better. Making the noodles is just fun! The stretching, smacking and not worrying about them being perfect is part of the charm. I struggled the first time. The basket was too big for my stock pot but I angled it and it worked perfect. Because I angled it, the noodles stuck together and I was disappointed but I really wanted these noodles!! The second time I used less noodles in the strainer and cooked them in more batches, that worked well!! They didn’t stick together ( if you have a bigger pot then you won’t have this problem). The third time, I’m a pro! I’ve played with noodle size and sauces and each batch is different and well loved!

Hands down one of the best designed gift sets out there right now. The other reviews were right about how beautiful the packaging is. The materials and tools it comes with are high quality too. They really thought about every detail for this kit from the tools and spice (that are really hard to find in stores) to the super easy instructions that are clear and easy to follow. They give you a few different recipes to make which is great so I can try it more than once and maybe can impress some friends with this. It's easy enough for all skill levels to do and have fun with, so I will definitely be ordering this as a fun and unique gift for my friends and family.
