I'll be honest, even after reading the dimensions I thought it would be a larger knife and wasn't sure I had room in my kit for a fixie this small but after a few days it falls into the EDC category even though I've got plenty of folders. Also read a lot of negative reviews about the sheath and how it should have been leather or of higher quality (given the price of the knife) or easier for a one-handed draw blah blah blah. After using it for several days my opinion is it's ridiculously secure, easily accessed one-handed and it looks cool. I'm glad I decided to keep it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Neat little blade *by G***E on 31 August 2026* I have a peculiar fondness for Falkniven knives. This particular model is rather short, but I seem to use the part of the blade closest the handle anyway. I won't be doing any batoning with it, but that's really the role of a hatchet. The only drawback with the Scout, or any falkniven knife, if figuring out how to effectively sharpen its convex edge.
