The difference is night and day. The orientation of the lever is more intuitive, and the oversize bearings deliver such smooth action that I honestly didn't think it was working when I installed and tested it. It's that effortless.I researched the Wolf Tooth website and got the Light Action model due to their recommended pairing with the Thomson post. I ended up getting the clamp version because of clearance issues with the Light Action lever and the Shimano I-Spec A-B brake levers. That allowed me to position the remote lever perfectly in my bar. This is seriously worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Why Would Anyone Use Anything Else. This is the very best. *by on Reviewed in the United States September 30, 2025* Not sure why this is not the standard for cable actuated dropper posts. Most OEM dropper levers leave your thumb sore due to the lack of leverage on the cable. The Wolf Tooth Light Action Lever is simply the very best, and that's why I have 3 of them.
