TRX TRX Slamball

These will take a beating and keep taking a beating. The grip surface is phenomenal and makes for some creative movement possibilities as well as the general benefits of a good non-slip handhold. I have multiple sizes and prefer the 15lb and up, so far. Side Note: if you intend to do "other" (non-slam-style) moves with these as you would with a wall-ball for example, you will want to realize the the core of these is not fixed; it moves. The result is that the core will cause "imbalance" when you toss/throw the ball because the core moves within the sphere. This is not so noticeable in the larger sized because the core has increased in size; however, in the 10lb and smaller, you will notice the core's motion inside the ball. In pure slam-style moves this is no consequence at all. I note this because my wife and daughter thought they would sub this item as a smaller wall-ball (note why I purchased it). These are designed for slam abuse and they will take everything you care to give them--other creative uses exist and I have tried them but they are only bonuses and not intended by manufacturer. All the TRX equipment I own, like these, is first rate construction.

Product described is just as I ordered and exactly what I needed to incorporate into my workout sessions. I very recently purchased/received this product, however, from the little use so far, this product is great. No offensive rubber smells, only slight rubber smell which is normal as compared to any newly pkged and shipped rubber product. It handles well with a nice grip. To ease any worries of product splitting open, I purchased a protection plan that was offered which was extremely afforadable and covers product for a couple years. However, I don't foresee any issue of this item splitting open as the material appears to be quite durable and I've used a similar item in the gym in which they have had the product longer than I've been attending the past few years and never had issues with a break down in materials either.

Now THIS is a slam ball! I have had many: some bounce back too much, some had covers that weren't grippy, some had covers that burst, and some just didn't have a "weighty" feeling. This TRX slam ball has NONE of those issues. It's beautiful! The cover is super durable, with a nice, textured gripping surface. It sinks like a stone when slammed, no bounce-back. And it just feels gooood....weighty, not slippery, solid, but with a bit of give. I love it! As an intermediate to advanced-intermediate female exerciser, I ordered the 15lb ball. Best slam ball I've ever owned.

These slam balls are amazing. Fell in love on vacation last year, and we purchased 4 of them since (in various weights). The functional workouts possible with these balls are simply a game changer. Check out some videos online, and get one of these balls. Specifically, the TRX balls are my favorite, and I've tried a few at various gyms. The tread grip feel secure, and they balls don't feel like they're going to break when you hit the ground with them. Others I've tried lose sand on every strike...

like this addition to my home gym. 15 pounds is heavier than I had thought but its good. Have a circuit that I use with this slam ball and really works me good. I can tell (in a great way) that I have used this. seems to be great quality. have used a couple of times each week for over a month and no problems.

I've been using this slam ball for at least 3 months now and I have to say it's still holding up well! I've been using it outside on asphalt and so far I have not seen any leaks or damage to the rubber. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is that the rubber could become hard and slippery over time. I was expecting the rubber to become more soft and grippy with more use. But overall it's a solid ball!

I own 2 of these balls. The 20# and 40#. I love the texture on the ball as it makes it much easier to grip and less likely to smash your head. The 40# ball is a little aggressive for slamming for me right now, but love it for squats or heavy ball carries. Would like a 30# to round out my set.

If you're looking for a durable and high-quality slam ball, this is it. I frequently slam, toss and throw this ball—it is holding up extremely well and shows little to no signs of wear and tear. The tread makes gripping the ball easy, but the tread is also aggressive and starts to hurt the fingertips after repeated slamming. Aside from that, I highly recommend it and have already purchased 3 more for my classes.

This is an excellent product! Very strong and well made. Would recommend to everyone. Great company to deal with.

Great addition to my home gym great to work into a circuits routine

Good solid ball, great for slams and throws

Really good ball, tough and all that. I use it essentially as a medball.
