I had a ton of jewelry that looked horrible from all the tarnish. I tried everything to get them polished. I gave up on a lot of them and donated them. I kept a lot more that had sentimental value. I just figured I'd never wear them again. I tried Silver polish, jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic machines, etc. Nothing worked. I finally remembered my mom using Tarn X from many years ago as a child. I figured why not give it a try. Well it came in today and I immediately got to it. I used a microfiber cloth and tried it on some silver jewelry that I was going to donate first just in case it ruined them. I was in shock at how quickly it got rid of the tarnish. Like it instantly disappeared. It was like magic with a touch. I didn't even rub it or anything. I couldn't get in to some nooks so decided to get a glass container and dip the jewelry in it and swirl it around for a few seconds. It is a liquid consistency so soaking items is easy. All I kept saying was "wow" after each piece came out of the solution. Next thing I knew I had cleaned over 100 pieces in a snap. I decided to use it on some old gold pieces with small diamonds that had better days. I never knew gold tarnished. It does but it's not as noticeable. My white gold sparkled and the diamonds sparkled. The yellow gold went from dull and aged to shiny and bright. I just kept finding item after item to use it on. I had my MIL old gold ring that had better days. I had used jewelry cleaner on it and it made it look decent for an old piece. Well, it went in this solution and came out looking like new! The gold sparkled and the diamonds look like they had been replaced by new better ones. I cannot express how easy it was to use and how it brought back the beauty to my pieces. A little goes a long way. Warning: it can mess up some softer gems but I risked it so just be careful. Yes the smell is not great but most chemicals smell horrible. It's tolerable. I do notice a smell in my jewelry box when I open it now. Hopefully it will dissipate over time.

I have no clue how this works this good but it is awesome! And it happens immediately after you put your item in it. I did a bunch of silver jewelry that was tarnished so bad it was black and it all came very clean. Only one piece had the yellow tint to it like another person mentioned. The rest are bright silver. It does stink! But it works great!

Instantly made my years worth of tarnished earrings look new again! I should’ve taken a before/after pic but it erased the tarnish in seconds.

The bottle is huge. It’s easy to use. Consistency is good effectiveness and shine. I can’t say much about that because it really didn’t do much. I am gonna try it on a couple other things, but I don’t think I’d buy this one anymore.

Let me just say wow this stuff I amazing the people who gave a negative review must have been using it on some stainless steel which it clearly states do not use it on that I have diamond chains like costume jewlery that I use on crafts and they have tarnished with time I gave up trying to clean them nothing worked I remember I had a bottle I bought many years ago and I couldn't believe how clean the stuff cane I was so amazes I showed everyone I know how crazy this stuff works instantly just dunk ur jewelry an swirl it around a few times just about everything looks like new so I bought 2 more bottles and yes I will b buying from now on and it's cheap yes it does smell when it mixes with tarnish but I dont know anything that will actually work that dosent have a smell that's how u know it's working because if it wasn't removing tarnish it wouldn't smell

worked like a charm on a very heavy tarnished item. Got mody of the tarnish off & then went in with silver polish for the hand rubbing - made this project an much easier & faster project

This cleaner works well on silver jewelry. It stinks because it has sulfuric acid in it to remove tarnish. It won’t work without it. Once you rinse the piece with water and dry, there is no odor. Very quick and easy process.

It works okay, leaving a bit of a white cast behind that should buff out. But the smell is so awful that I threw away the rest of the bottle. My whole house smelled like rotten eggs.

Extremely potent stuff. Make sure you use all the listed safety measures. I’d even go as far as to use a mask if you’re in a confined space. Very good at what it does.
