Review: Tastes so much better than other brands - Will definitely buy again
Review: Canada does it better - I read somewhere that Canadian Kraft Mac and cheese tastes different because they don’t allow certain ingredients (chemicals) in their foods that they U.S. does. Canadians swear it tastes different. Well, it does! It has more flavor and doesn’t have that sickly sweet taste the American version has. The cheese packet also doesn’t clump horribly like the American version does. I couldn’t tell you why either. I was skeptical until I tried it. Now, even though it’s a tad more expensive than buying it here in the States, I’ll be buying it from Canada from now on.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Meh
*by A***8 on September 26, 2026*

I bought this after reading reviews that Canadian Kraft Dinner tastes better than the US version and also that it is supposed to be more like US Kraft macaroni and cheese from decades ago. So, I was excited to try it because the US Kraft has progressively gotten more bland and skimpy over the years. Can't say I am a fan of this. It has a very strange woody smell after you mix in the powder, and it leaves an undesirable aftertaste. My boxes aren't expired, either. The taste while eating it is fine, but maybe slightly more bland than expected. It does not taste like 90's Kraft though. The woody odor from the powder mix is off-putting though, and probably the main reason I wouldn't buy it again.
