It was enclosed in a thick plastic bag. I know that may seem like a little thing, however, I have ordered numerous products that weren't packaged very well and because they were not sealed in a plastic bag they leaked all over the place. That was not the case here. As for the product, I had never used this type of product before and was surprised at how easy it was to work with. It did not take much effort to to combine the two products and condition the clay. It had a working time of approximately 45-60 minutes before it hardened too much to get more detail into it. Over all, I was very happy with this product and have found other uses for it, such as making jewelry and fixing miscellaneous things (such as a hook). There isn't any harsh chemical smells and it isn't harsh on the skin. Also, the lids seal tight so this product should last a very long time. Review: Great Product - Product was easy to use. Once you have mixed the two parts thoroughly poke a hole in the center and add a bit of the powdered pigment then knead it until the color is consistent through out. NOTE: this method only results in a slight color shift as adding too much of anything may compromise the chemical reaction of mixing the hardener and resin together possibly causing the clay to destabilize, ie. not harden, be brittle, harden unevenly, etc. **Q: Dear manufacturer, How much area does this cover per 5lbs kit at 1/4" thick?** A: Magic Sculpt unit/kit at 1/4 inch thickness: 1lb. kit = .5 sq. ft. 5lb. kit = 2.5 sq. ft. 20lb. kit = 10 sq. ft.
