I tend to wash the dish mat weekly so it doesn’t get moldy. **Q: How do you attach the utensil box?** A: The utensil box has 2 small hooks that attach it to the rack, easily removes and adjusts. I love mine and want to get one for my camper. I use a large cookie sheet to drain into. **Q: Can you seal the bamboo dish rack so it won’t mold?** A: I don’t know. I haven’t tried it but it’s worth trying in my opinion. Although I have a little mold on the legs but not too bad **Q: What country is it made in?** A: I googled HBLife, the manufacturer, and the site said the company was based in China.
