These were purchased as dust covers for unused RJ45 connections when not in use between seasons on a covered screened porch. In my experience, they click on and stay on. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Prevents cable damage

A little pricey for what they are. But I think they pay for themselves in the long run by preventing the clip on the RJ45 connector from breaking making a cable basically worthless without replacing the connector. They also potentially prevent network issues due to dust and dirt on the connector. These are sturdy and solid. I also like them being black as the clear plastic alternatives are hard to see when dropped, causing much foot pain when stepped on :)
