Aside from the ease of tuning, the patented design broadens the antennas bandwidth to keep SWR lower over more channels. The upper coil extension also increases the power handling capability of the antenna. If you want to see the Firestik II anatomy. All "FS" antennas are compatible with autos, trucks, vans, motorcycles and ATV's in a single antenna configuration when metallic ground plane is available. Or, they may be used in dual (co-phased) configuration on any vehicle made from any type of material. Like all CB antennas, the "FS" antennas should be fine-tuned (SWR) in their final mounting location. If you have ever tuned a non-tunable tip antenna, you will have a real appreciation for the "FS" antennas. To tune a "FS" antenna, you just pop-of the tip and turn the adjustment screw up or down as needed. Key Features - 5/8 Wave Length Design Rated @ 1000 Watts - Can be Used in Single or Dual Configurations - Each is wound with heavy insulated copper wire to prevent the oxidation and shorted windings often found on non-Firestik antennas - Tunable tip mechanism is made from rust-proof brass and has a rubber o-ring to hold the adjuster in place after tuning - 3/8"-24 threaded base has a tapered contact point that works especially well with Firestik mounts and accessories - Tapered "lug-nut" effect transfers stress away from the threads and reduces the possibility of vibration induced loosening of the antenna in its mount - To maintain a balance between flexibility and ruggedness, we use a custom blended, glass fiber reinforced shaft ## Features - 5/8 Wave Length Design Rated @ 1000 Watts, Can be Used in Single or Dual Configurations - Tunable tip mechanism is made from rust-proof brass and has a rubber o-ring to hold the adjuster in place after tuning - 3/8"-24 threaded base has a tapered contact point that works especially well with Firestik mounts and accessories - Tapered "lug-nut" effect transfers stress away from the threads and reduces the possibility of vibration induced loosening of the antenna in its mount - To maintain a balance between flexibility and ruggedness, we use a custom blended, glass fiber reinforced shaft ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000X3EP7I | | Antenna | Radio | | AntennaDescription | Radio | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,671 in Car Audio & Video Antennas | | Brand | FireStik | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 771 Reviews | | Impedance | 50 ohm | | Item Weight | 12.8 ounces | | Manufacturer | FIRESTIK | | Maximum Range | 5 feet | | Mfr Part Number | FS5-B | | Model Number | FS5-B | | Number of Channels | 5 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 716414110128 757183343928 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Antenna:** Radio - **Brand:** FireStik - **Color:** Black - **Impedance:** 50 ohm - **Manufacturer:** FIRESTIK - **Maximum Range:** 5 feet - **Number of Channels:** 5 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **UPC:** 716414110128 757183343928 - **Unit Count:** 1 count ## Images ![FireStik 5 feet II TUNABLE TIP BLACK - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/419oMWrwMRL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - FireStik 5 feet II TUNABLE TIP BLACK - FIRESTIK K-4A CB RADIO ANTENNA HEAVY DUTY SO-239 STUD MOUNT (BULK) - Marketty SS-3H CB Antenna Spring, Stainless Steel Heavy Duty CB Radio Antenna Mount Spring, Spring to Fit Mobile/in-Vehicle CB Radio Antenna Mount Up to 60" Long and 3/8" X 24 Thread (Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/4552183-firestik-5-feet-ii-tunable-tip-black](https://www.desertcart.no/products/4552183-firestik-5-feet-ii-tunable-tip-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
