If you have a phone case, just peel and stick that metal plate inside your phone case then put your phone back in and that'll stick to the mount. No need to stick it to the phone itself unless you don't have a phone case. **Q: Does it come with the magnet for the phone?** A: The magnet is in the mount. There is a round metal plate that attaches to your phone or phone cover. (Side note:the metal plate adhered and worked best on my phone inside the phone cover) **Q: If i have an iPhone x and a life proof case will this work?** A: Use the metal backing they provide, adhere it to the back of the case --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/454096851-2-pack-magnetic-phone-mount-for-car-thick-case-heavy](https://www.desertcart.no/products/454096851-2-pack-magnetic-phone-mount-for-car-thick-case-heavy) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
