I work outside doing landscaping and sometimes can't run back to the truck to get a bottle of water. I can't always use a backpack system due to the equipment I use, however, this holds a nice amout of water and actually keeps it cold in the insulated pack for a couple of hours. Very easy to fill and use. I actually wear it across my chest and not the waist so it's easier to grab one handed. I've been using it for about a month and it's very durable, both the bladder and the pack are holding up great.
