A: 47,9 cm and has 226 parts of that helps

**Q: Do you paint everything first and then assemble the parts?**
A: My husband is an experienced builder. I got it for him. The body is assembled then painted & any decals added. Each of the containers is individually painted & decals, added then placed on deck. Hope that helps.

**Q: Is this model ok for a beginner?**
A: No, I would say this model is intermediate to advanced skill level.

**Q: Please confirm if is made with carboard? or which is the material.**
A: It is made of plastic, with a high level of detail.  It will build into a very nice model of the main type of cargo ship used around the world.
