It works as intended but you might get frustrated at the beginning till you master how to use it. Always try to keep the tip of the hook on the surface so that it doesn't gets pushed by the beads. Also try to avoid the center as the beads don't get real direction so it makes it hard for them to get into the needle but once you master it, it's a real game changer 👍
