A: I used it to take a 360 video and I can control the speed at which it turns too. Nice tool.

**Q: When you set up for remote operation, does the unit "go to sleep", if not in use to save battery or is it continually on using battery life?**
A: From my experience when it is on it stays no until you turn it off. I have been using it for a few months in church, the remote range is very good once in line of sight approximately 100 feet.

**Q: Can this hold a Nikon P1000?**
A: Yes
