Review: Great Small EDC - I recently got this bag since work decided to give us smaller lockers. My normal EDC (Oakley Icon Pack 3.0) no longer fits. I am happy to say that this fits everything I normally carry and still fits into my work locker. The bag itself is surprisingly large for its small stature. I no longer carry a laptop, so I didn't need such a large bag. This bag does let me carry a small notebook, tablet, lunch, water bottle, pens, folding knife, flashlight, small first aid kit, and sunglass case. The bag still has room to carry a bit more, but I am most likely going to pick up an external molle water bottle holder to free up internal space. I am very pleased with the quality of the bag. Build quality is strong and I have no problem believing that this bag will hold up for a number of years. I am also planning on building a new Bug Out Bag based around the larger Rush 12 Pack. This will also allow me to attach my current Rush 6 in the event of needing to get out and go. The Rush Tier Straps that come with the bag let you do this. I measured most of the items I wanted to put in it and found every dimension for every pocket I could (I couldn't find all of them so I had to guess with a few). I am thrilled with this pack. I am 5'6", 185 lbs. and it fits me perfectly. I have adjusted it so that it rides low on my right side, at the belt/butt level. The padded strap rests perfectly on my left shoulder. When I swing the bag around to my front, it sits landscape, right on my upper chest, with the comm pocket on my right, making phone access simple. The comm pocket comfortably fits my iPhone 6S or Starfleet-issue communicator (not kidding, I really have one), in which case, I relegate my iPhone to the sunglass pocket on the top. My iPad Air 2 easily fits in the cinched pocket of the main compartment (this would NOT hold a full-sized laptop) and my Glock 23 Gen 4 pistol slips easily and completely in the CCW pouch between the admin and main compartments, although I am not a fan of off-body carry, so I use that pouch for other things. I have a number of smaller items in other pockets, such as Apple Ear Buds, chargers and cables, a Fisher Space Bullet Pen, a Gerber Shard and Leatherman PS4 multi-tools, an Olight S-1 Mini flashlight, a Snow Peak titanium fork, a 16 GB thumb drive and even a boo-boo kit stuffed into a Maxpedition Micro pouch. There is plenty of room for other things should I need to stuff a light windbreaker or travel pillow in there as well. I don't carry water as part of my EDC, but if I ever do, I'll purchase the 5.11 Hydro Pack with a Nalgene 32 oz. bottle and attach it to the side of the pack using the MOLLE system. Know what you want to pack, pack light and this baby will be with you a long time.
