Review: Works great and is safe to use! - Got this a few years back. Have not had any problems with it. The holding pads work great, as long as you put them in right. If you have a pill that is too large for any of the holders, just remove them and use the tray. Still works great. Really love the fact that the blade is completely secured behind a cover. Can't get cut. I have been cut on cheaper ones and that's not fun!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great and is safe to use!

Got this a few years back. Have not had any problems with it. The holding pads work great, as long as you put them in right. If you have a pill that is too large for any of the holders, just remove them and use the tray. Still works great. Really love the fact that the blade is completely secured behind a cover. Can't get cut. I have been cut on cheaper ones and that's not fun!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Close but not perfect. Better than most!

The silicone stabilizer pieces are the key difference in this unit vs others. It does a pretty good job of keeping it in place and cutting the pill as needed. Sometimes not a clean 50% cut as the blade doesn’t 100% match the open line. This is kinda a slow process but worthwhile if you are needing more precision of cuts esp for expensive or powerful meds where a little bit off of optimum cut matters. This is not a unit to quickly slam out a whole bunch of pills. With this unit I have less fragmenting/little pieces crunch off. I don’t recall now if there are considerably more expensive options out there but I’m not willing to pay that as not doing a volume of cutting but 2pills a day if using that medication. Oh…this unit will take a bit of manual dexterity so if you have considerable issues with small pills and confined workspace of a small framed cutter this will be more challenging.
