My two boys (age 8 and 6) have continued to play with this weekly by using their own creativity to do other builds. The only thing that doesn't work well is the mechanism that turns the gumballs and drops them into the "maze." When we had the bowl filled with gumballs, it constantly jammed and caused frustration. So we removed all the gumballs and put them in a separate container. Then we just drop one in at a time and turn the little wheel to let the gumball out into the maze.
