Healing Foods

This book has been perfect for me. I needed to change my diet after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, and Neal’s Yard Remedies: Healing Foods has become part of what I call my Fortress Rob approach — building health and strength from the inside out. It’s not a preachy book; it’s practical, calm, and beautifully presented. The advice makes sense, the recipes are easy to follow, and it helped me rethink food not just as fuel, but as medicine and daily care. If you want to eat better, live cleaner, or simply feel more in control of your health, this book is a quiet powerhouse.

I was so sceptical before buying a used book. Then I thought why noy give it a try. When the item arrived I was not expecting that I will like it, but now I think I will prefer used books next time because this book is good as new. And I am very happy that finally I have it as my own.

Great Book! I love Neal's Yard Remedies products!

I just bought this book and it offers everything I've been searching for regarding the ingredients and health benefits of food. Very good illustration and plentiful material to read. Also, they have some recipies that look very promising. I tried the ginger chicken and it was delicious.

Love the cookbook! Great recipes and a fabulous resource. The bummer for me is it is not vegetarian. I love pretty much anything Neal's Yard Remedies.

Best price for this book that I've found! Excellent information. Trying to eat healthier and this book explains which foods are good for what particular purpose. Excellent information.

Great book

I like this book.

Very useful reference recipe book.

I use it all the time

What a fantastic book this is from DK publishers and Neal's Yard expertise, its a treasure trove of information. It looks fabulous and it is fabulous, and covers a multitude of foods, health problems, and contains various healthy recipes. I am currently researching "inflammation" and so the index shows which foods at a glance may be of help to reduce inflammation symptoms, once you start it is hard to put down and anything that may be found naturally rather than relying fully on medicines just gets my vote and worthy of a try. The foods go on the weekly shopping list to give it a go. I feel as if I am taking back some control - rather than inflammation taking control of me. It is so well done that the book would not be amiss in say a doctors surgery or gymnasium reception area.

Love everything Neals Yard does.

Great book, invaluable for helping me to eat healthily and understand more about the nutrients in the foods that I eat. Recommended.
