I'm only 5'2 but my calf measures at 15 inches. Should I get the small or medium size?? 14.5 inches high would be right at my knee.

Neither, I'm short with large calfs and I had a problem with mediums. Sent them back.

Will these go over my hunting waders to had a little extra protection?

If you are looking for them to put over boot-foot waders - probably not going to work. Stocking foot waders with wading shoes, if not too large and bulky, might work if you try extra large

Are these snake proof?

I handle alot of snakes & I walk integer areas of snakes all the time since I am a wildlife & pest removal technician, I wear my muck boots with the gaiters over them & the bite chance is almost non-existent, I never say there is a 100% chance of anything not happening but it’s a close one with these!
