Works With My Galaxy A53
I just purchased a Samsung Galaxy A53, and was using a generic MicroSD card that kept unmounting. After reading about MicroSD and phone compatibility this Samsung 256GB EVO Plus Class 10 UHS-I microSDXC U3 was recommended to work with the A53.I started using it for a day now, and it is staying connected, working fine. Loaded 20 GB of files.I notice that there is also improved performance when taking photos / videos and when viewing them and when listening to stored music files. Also seems faster when using the photo editor with MicroSD stored files.Hopefully this MicroSD card will stay connected. The A53 is a major phone upgrade for me which I am impressed with and enjoy using. Thanks Team Samsung!

Capacity is 10% lower than 256 Gb, but it's still a necessary upgrade for digital gamers on Switch.
I recently received a Nintendo Switch and needed a memory card for it. I know from my other digital devices that I wanted to go very big so as to never run out of room. The best deal I found for an abundance of space was this Samsung Evo microSDXC card at 256 Gb. It's Class 10 rated, which means it is fast at reading and writing data, so it can be used with 4K cameras too.The first thing I did when I received the memory card was to put it into the included memory card adapter and plug it into my Mac for formatting. I was very surprised to see that after before and after formatting, there was only 232 Gb of free space on the memory card. That's almost 10% less than advertised. It's always a little off with hard drives and memory cards, by a few gigs even, but 10% is a lot.I was able to plug this memory card in to my Switch and use it to download a lot of games and demos. It seems to load Disgaea 5 just as fast as the core memory did, so full stars for speed. The only flaw I found with this product was the capacity being lower than expected. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this memory card to Nintendo Switch users. 4/5 stars. If you found this review helpful, please show some love by clicking the "Yes" button below. TEST SD CARD RIGHT AWAY - BUT USE MULTIPLE DEVICES TO CONFIRM
So I almost thought I got a dud because I was testing the 256 GB SD Card on 1 laptop / my desktop and I only got ~19 MB / s for read / write. Nothing even over 25 MB/s (1/4 of the advertised speed).TEST 1: The laptop was a Dell G3 which had an i7-8750H CPU and a realtek card reader built in.TEST 2: My Desktop has a 2600x CPU and I was using only a USB 2.0 (Micro USB OTG to USB 2.0 Adapter; SD/Micro SD Card Reader)TEST 3: So that got me thinking, I need to buy a USB 3.0 or 3.1 SD Card reader for my desktop. (Ended up buying Transcend TS-RDF5K USB 3.0 SDHC/SDXC/microSDHC/SDXC Card Reader which is where I ran the CrystalDisk Mark picture and got the results I posted). Those are way closer to the advertised speed which is good. Now on another older laptop (i5 CPU 6th Gen + Realtek card reader built in) for some reason it was giving a better speed (~60-70 MB/s) using CrystalDiskMark and H2TestW than Test1/Test2 despite those being a lot newer. So I'm not sure if it's a realtek driver issue at least comparing the 2 laptops which both had the realtek sd card reader. All I'm saying is don't dismiss it just because it initially gives you low speeds, it could be your device.I actually RMA'd the Samsung 256GB EVO Select Green when I may not have had to.Anyways I will be using this for my BlackVue DR750S 2CH DashCam since the 128GB Blackvue branded one crapped out on me within 6 months. Will update this review if I run into any issues using it with my dash cam.

Good Card for Music Storage
A bit slower than most in I/O speeds, but a great value for the money.

Solid microsd card/purchase so far - would definitely buy again.
I'm going to try to make this review rather quick. I'm sure others have or can provide detailed benchmarking and stuff like that anyway. I'll just say that while its a relatively new purchase, it's done exactly what I've needed it to so far. I bought this to use with my Onkyo DP-X1a music player which as an upgrade to the original DP-X1, has 64GB of internal ram vs 32GB, important when dealing with Hi-Res audio files, but also supports 2 memory card slots of 256GB each, up from the original's 200GB per slot. For now, the price was pretty decent, but I only bought 1 and figured I could buy another later when I get closer to filling it up.So far, I've inserted it into the player and then plugged in the unit into my computer's USB 3.0 ports and had no problems quickly transferring data to it. I didn't have to do any formatting and so far have not experienced any issues with reading or writing any of the data and I've never found myself asking is this ever going to finish...Overall, so far so good, and I can see another one in my future.

As good as SanDisk
Bought the "256Gb" version. These Samsung U3 Micro SD cards are as good as the normally more expensive SanDisk Extreme range IMHO.For years I would only ever buy & trust SanDisk for Cards for Critically Important data like for Camera usage but I was tempted to try out the competition as I hadn't done so in years & I'm so glad I did :)I've stressed it for a while in a USB 3 Reader & it's handled everything no problems at all, so for the past month or so it's been in my Nikon Camera & performing as it should. The card is quick enough for 4k recording on my Nikon D7500 & also good enough for some basic burst photography though I wouldn't expect it to take constant bursts / heavy burst usage that maybe some pro photographer's might do as it's by no means a 300 quid super speed card ;)That being said here's the figures I get from my card ;Read : 95Mb/s up to even 100Mb/s all day long on transferring anything from it or copying anything from it.Write : 75-85Mb/s all day long on transferring anything to it or copying anything to it including small or large files.I can honestly say also that I recently bought a SanDisk 128 Gb Extreme Pro & the Samsung's Write speed is roughly 3 or 4 Mb/s faster than the more expensive SanDisk's 71-81Mb/s however the SanDisk's far quicker read speeds will probably appeal to more users as that was up to 140Mb/s.All in all I can highly recommend this Micro SD card to anyone requiring a fast write speed but please do buy it either Direct from Amazon or at least from a trusted 3rd party seller ;) as fake SD & Micro SD cards are so so common :(
