Easy and quick to get creative which is what I wanted. Wouldn't replace a decent laptop and waves tune live or melodyne etc as (obviously) you can do finer parameters adjustments, but as a sceptical buyer this has exceeded my expectations. Spent the first hour recreating a live version of burial archangel vocal edit with pitch shifting reverb and auto tune. Outstanding haha. Next attempt is midi keyboard input for beastie boys intergalactic vocoder (of which is a standard I haven't been able to emulate the clarity on with other vocoders, this however got so close in 5 mins I know that if I sit down with it longer it can be done.) Great little piece of kit. Review: Very nice sound quality - I love the sound quality on this and I love the different effects you can get with it. I like to improvise in D minor so can the chords be set to play in that key?** A: Yes, you can choose any key. Check the manual for details - Google "roland j-6 manual" **Q: Can tracks/sequences be saved on this device or sd card?** A: There is no SD card on the device, but you can save patterns I think I’m not sure tbh there’s a lot of tutorials on YouTube. It’s tiny but sounds really good imo. **Q: is there a way to program different patterns into a song?** A: No, you would have to select patterns in order as you play.
