The Cutterpillar Crop Paper Trimmer combines a gear-driven rotary blade with a bright LED backlight and a 17" extendable ruler, delivering precise, clean cuts on various paper types. ## Description

This precision paper and photo trimmer has a gear driven rotary blade for perfect cuts through almost any stock or photo paper. The bright LED backlight illuminates the cutting line for completely accurate trimming. Now in a light-weight portable model with 6.5" base and 17" extending ruler. The new LED lights will shine through most paper, including photo paper, card stock and patterned paper, but some dark or thick card stock is opaque and no light will shine through it. The Cutterpillar will easily cut 5-7 sheets of 24 bond computer paper and 3-4 sheets of thicker card stock, but the more paper you cut at a time, the more you may sacrifice accuracy and precision. The crop has measurements to cut up to 17" when the arm is extended. Requires 4 AA batteries.

**Q: Will this cut a 12x12 sheet of paper on the diagonal point to point?**
A: I love this cutter best I’ve ever had , but no it won’t cut it diagonal.  But they do have a guillotine one that probably would

**Q: What’s is the widest cut it can make without using the arm extension?**
A: I have the cutterpillar measureing tape that I got off there website and it shows 61/2 inches from the folded arm to the cutting blade. I hope this helps:)

**Q: Does the Crop blade have to be replaced or does it have a lifetime warranty like the Pro?**
A: I have their first version of the Pro. It too had lifetime warranty. However, you can’t get replacement parts due to factory shutting down. Warranty only good as long as replacements are made.

**Q: Can it cut med to hvy chipboard and felt?**
A: I have cut light to medium chipboard with no problem at all.  I also bought some magnet sheets that it will cut.  Just need to be careful so doesn't slip.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very smooth

I can't say enough good things about having a Cutterpillar. First tried one out at a crop and was instantly impressed. Fortunately, I had a birthday coming and hubby needed ideas! This trimmer provides a very smooth cut, even if I only trim a small amount. As long as I pay attention, it's perfect everytime. Until I received this, I'd used the same trimmer for over 20 years because I am left-handed and feared I would make mistakes if I tried something new. I admit that as I learned to use this, I double checked myself a lot as the measure twice, cut once adage dictates. There are only a couple things I would suggest altering. 1. The grid marks should be a different color. Green marks on a green surface are a strain, even with the lighted version. 2. Though this is an excellent quality tool, the price point feels a little out of reach for a lot of people, I think. I had the advantage of getting to try someone else's first, but I have lived in areas where that wasn't always an option. Thanks for the super fast shipping. Arrived 1 week early!
