The cap has been designed in such a manner that it actually presses a little bit of the glue back into the tube so you can get the lid off again the next time you need to use it. I do wipe off any excess before reselling it and that helps as well. I’ve used it for all kinds of projects and it does not fail. The fact that I can go back and seal the tube with this lid and then get the lid off again later as a huge plus for me. I’ve bought household glues before, and when I would go back to use it the lid would be permanently glued to the tube itself and I would just have to throw it away. This stuff is fantastic.
