Next I will replace the capacitor which is also over 12 years old I won't need to go larger I'll stay with the two farad and just replace the one that is still working but it's time to replace it. With me my stereo is like my friend and if I were to sell my car I would remove my stereo and put the factory one back in, I would take my friend with me to my next car. My head unit is a dual din Kenwood Excelon. I love the kenwoods and I use them exclusively. Go with the excelons and you got the best they have. Because they don't make dash kits for my car this certain head unit was my only option. Before the amp you could have a normal conversation over the music. Lows weren't very pronounced. After installing this amp which I did myself... those Kickers came to life!!!! Music is clear punchy and loud. Advertised wattage is pretty acurate befause my speakers are 100w rms and the amp is 80w rms and it can bottom out those speakers when cranked. Completely happy with this amp. It did everything I needed it to do very well!!!
