It comes with a white protector on one side and clear on the other. Bideford** A: Hi...I'm not sure to be honest I thought the plastic had uv protection within it. I took the film off as thought it was just packaging. Also did not want a white look. Think it would be hard to curve the plastic into the side arms if it's still on? Sorry if not answered your question **Q: I want to install it on a wooden shed. the wood is too thick so i cannot use nuts on the bolt. what size hex screws for wood shall i buy please?** A: Hi Abu, I believe the fixings that comes with the canopy are roughly 8mm in diameter as I used a 10mm drill for holes. As long as you use long enough screws to ensure canopy stay put in windy weather it should work on wood. Use washers if you cannot find 8mm screws. I hope it helps. **Q: Is there an option to have the poly come tinted rather than clear?** A: There's no option for tinted. But you could do your own tinting like a car window but remember it has to be formed into the side brackets **Q: What is the hole distance on each bracket?** A: There is no dimensions in the package. I assembled the unit and made a hole centre template using the cardboard package it came in. Hope this helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good rain protection *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 May 2026* Does a great job over the side door when I’m smoking and it’s raining. Good construction and worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Careful now *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 August 2026* A bit difficult to build if you silicon in the panels and let the silicon dry before putting together. Best seal one side of the lower panel just before fitting the ends. Looks sturdy enough and good design. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid Canopy *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 April 2026* Great price, easy assembly by one person, I discarded the flimsy side strips after watching a YouTube video and used black waterproof Duck Tape instead.I made a fixing template from the cardboard packaging. Problem arose with the sleeve bolts which are not up to the job and the instructions provided no guidance so I used anchor bolts instead. I fixed one end to the wall while my wife supported the other end with an upturned broom for easy fixing. ## Frequently Bought Together - VOUNOT Front Door Canopy Outdoor Awning, Rain Shelter for Back Door, Porch, Patio, Window, 100 x 80 cm - VOUNOT Front Door Canopy Outdoor Awning, Rain Shelter for Back Door, Porch, Window, 200 x 80 cm, Grey --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.no/products/432799030-door-canopy-100x80cm](https://www.desertcart.no/products/432799030-door-canopy-100x80cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Norway* *Store origin: NO* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
