I remove my a/c at the end of summer.** A: I am not sure about this as the top part of this product has double-sided tape to seal everything together and that may be an issue. I would reach to the manufacturer on this one.This is my first winter using it and I never remove the a/c for the windows that I use it for.Sorry I could not be certain. **Q: Does it come with white tape to hide imperfections of where the panels meet like I see in some pictures?** A: the tape is on the back. Once you cut the item to your desired measurement then you will remove the tape from the back so it can stick which is mostly for the top piece to bring it all together.
