7 Inch Household Candlesticks

I was beginning to think I could never find appropriate candles for my 19th century "courting candle" holders (length of candle above holder represented the amount of time a couple was allowed to spend together - as set by her father). These candles are exactly what I needed - less than an inch in diameter and not tapered. There is minor dripping just after they are lit, but no drips after that. I am very satisfied.

I will continue to buy these candles. They are perfect for me. I like the color of the wax, the length of the wick, the graceful beauty of the flame, the driplessness, and the scentlessness. I use them every day, so I like their affordability, too. An ideal simple candle in a complicated world. Thank you.

These candles arrived loosely packed, and I could hear them clanking around in the package. I figured they'd be broken, but they weren't even dented! They look great. They are dripless and burn well. The only quibble I have is that the diameter of the candles is just a bit smaller than a standard candleholder. Still giving them 5 stars, though.

I have come to love this brand of candle for event decorating. They are truly dripless and worth the extra cost.

The first candle lasted 7 hours 10 minutes. No fan or air was blowing the entire timeframe. It was a calm steady flame except the few times I walked past it which caused it to dance a little. These are a nice ivory color. While these seem like very good candles they are too small for my candle holder. I had to place aluminum foil over my chamberstick holder and shove the candle down into the holder to ensure the candle would stay firmly upright and not wiggle. Regarding the other reviews saying and showing the candles dripped terribly, it's obvious they have a constant strong breeze blowing the flame... Of course it'll drip and burn quickly in that case! It's ridiculous to blame the candle for quick burning and dripping when you don't ensure minimal excess air circulation... Smh. I'm burning my first candle of this set right now and it is burning smoothly, slowly, and not dripping or smoking. These candles are supposedly unscented but they do have a mild vanilla fragrance. I don't notice it in the air, only while handling them individually and more so when handling the box of candles. I'll need to repackage these to keep dust off of them since the original package doesn't include a lid, just a box without a top, covered in shrink wrap. They all have a bump on the bottom which needs to be melted to flatten it out. This seems like a good purchase. I'd purchase these again. These will be used during power outages.

I hate drippy candlesticks. I was determined to find the perfect, smokeless, dripless, mess-free, long burning candle-and I did. I asked Grok AI and got an answer+what causes drips. The best candle for drips is “Bolsius.” Be smart: keep it out of drafts-no candle can remain dripless in a draft also trim wicks to 1/4” after every burn. I got the 7” in ivory and 2 of 3 I tested burned clean and dripless for a full 6 hours. I candle was placed in a draft, dripped everywhere and burned only 4 hours. See pics. Order “Stick-Um” to hold candle in place. They will drip if not perfectly straight. These candles were a bit loose in two of three candle holders and “Stick Up” holds them! Color is lovely. Rich wax composition. No scent. Very durable.

I purchased these for power outages, or "just whenever", because the scented candles I have around won't be good for long-term lighting in a power-down situation (who needs a migraine due to strong smells in a stressful situation?). I decided to test one, and burned it in two separate sessions to about halfway down. It seems like they'll go even longer than 7 hours, but I failed to time each session so I cannot provide specifics. If I ever burn them and find they come up significantly short of 7 hours, I'll come back and update this, but from what I've seen it will be every bit as long as they claim. The flame was nice and even, and it never dripped (pleasantly surprising me). I'm impressed, and will be purchasing more.

Perfect size. Burns even with very little drip.

Goede kleur, kwaliteit

Surprisingly good: burn completely in still air, drip slightly to leeward in a breeze. Burn for about 6 hours, IIRC. Can't imagine anything better.

Très bonnes bougies , à un prix défiant toute concurrence
