UPDATE: The company reached out and sent me newer updated bulbs to try to see if I noticed a difference and I instantly did. For one, the connection process is why easier and I've never had any issues with the bulbs since switching to the updated ones. From the company doing this, I have changed my review rating to a 5 for excellent customer service that actually solved the problem.I've had these bulbs over a year, and when they are connected and working they are great. The issues are they aren't always connected. For some reason my bulbs will disconnect even though they are basically in the same room as the router (almost),and when they disconnect they can't be reconnected for over a week or so. Then I've had one bulb that has just refused to work again since going out and disconnecting. It won't even turn on. But as I said in the title, when they're working, they're everything I wanted in my bulbs. They pair well with my Google Home setup and automatically turn off and on with my in ground lights.

I have 2 of these in my side table lamps, and they're so fun to randomly change colors. They can be linked to Alexa very easily. I did not have any issues whatsoever. and work great! Just make sure that you look at the size of the base of the bulb you are replacing so it fits right. These have the smaller bases.

I've used these for a year and 2 months. They do a good job and interface well with Google assistant if you set up Google home or with the smartlife app. I have them set up to turn on and off through verbal inputs to Google assistant on my samsung watch, which makes using them very easy. Range of colors is good and there's a good amount of customizing you can do. I have mine set to turn on at 7 to wake me up for work. Only issue is that, if the power goes out, you sometimes have to turn them on and off a few times to get them to resend to the router.I'm leaving this review because I had a great interaction with this company's support team, which i find sometimes is even more important than the product itself. Recently, a power outage caused one to no longer get into pairing mode or sync with the router. It started to just shine a bright light and get hot as you left it plugged in (no fire or danger, just couldn't get it to respond to the router). I contacted support. Someone immediately answered the phone (no stupid answering service or twenty menus to go through). They were extremely friendly; there was no interrogation at all. They said this product has a 2 year warranty and they would send me a new bulb. They collected my order number and the replacement bulb is on the way. I was very pleased. This is how a company's support should be. I highly recommend using this company's products. I will be buying from them again.

Good lighting when you get it set up. Have to download the app which is not that east to set up. Also will not connect to my wifi so has to be done on my phone via Bluetooth.

Update: Although I may have gotten faulty one, the customer service they have is hands down the best I've ever seen. So buy without worry and then if there's issue, they will make it right.The bulb itself is pretty standard as other smart ones, so I can't say its better, but nor can't say its worse. It's as you expect. The other reviews also show that there are some faulty ones, but you should be able to get a replacement if it is broken.The feature wise, it's what you expect. You can have light on/off, color temperature, brightness, and so on. I use these feature often.Original: Unless you want it at brightness 40%, it will flicker when you turn it on. Can't recommend unless you want dimmed light.

two years into owning these, I have finally given up. We got them to use them in frequently-used light fixtures so we could set them up to automatically turn on and off while we're away, among other things. The reality is that these bulbs are worse than useless if they are in an outlet that is switched on and off by a switch. Powering them on and off like this inevitably leads them to "unpair" and generally fall into a state where they've forgotten they're attached to your wifi and controlled by an app. Guess what happens when the bulb is in this state?... It flashes rapidly on and off until it is re-paired with your wifi. Not exactly what you want when you're away from home! ha! Into the trash these go. I've tried everything to rectify the problem, but nothing works.

I needed to find smart lights this size. They work great and were easy to set up. I learned that trying to set them up with all screwed in was hard so I put them in one at a time and that worked very well.

I've tried 2 or 3 different brands of smart bulbs. These ones were installed and recognized by Alexa. Hoping that they don't mess up.
