A: Temi makes a whale, shark and croccodile.  The tail movement is passive not controlled by a motor-  For the shark it looks great, but for the whale it is not realistic as it is horizontal rather than vertical

**Q: Is the remote waterproof?**
A: No, it is not.

**Q: how many inches long and wide is is the shark?**
A: 2 to 3 inches wide and 8 to 10 inches long. I gave as gift and he loved it.

**Q: Does it go deep underwater**
A: I got mine to go about 3-4 feet deep but I don’t think it’ll go much further.

My kids are young (2 and 4). They were really excited to play with this in the pool. I realize we should not have let the kids use the controller, but they were too excited to say no to. I tried to watch them like a hawk, but they still managed to get the controller a little wet. The controls got patchy and eventually just stopped working all together within the hour. The shark still lights up and wants to swim but we have no way to control him now, so that’s a bummer. I wish there was some sort of cover or something to help keep the controls safer. Otherwise, really neat toy for all ages.
