Monopoly Junior Bluey Edition

Look, I was a huge Monopoly fan when I was a kid, but I had never played any version of Monopoly Junior. I don't know what the "standard" version is ilke, what types of properties there are, etc., but if your family is even remotely as in love with the Heelers the way MY family is, you HAVE to get this for your young children. Game play doesn't last nearly as long as typical Monopoly. You play with rules that state that you either buy the property you land on (if unowned), or pay the owner rent (the same as the purchase price). You use "dollar bucks" in the game, which look just like those shown on the show (and only one denomination). The quality of the game is just as high as the original game; you can play as Bandit, Chili, Bluey, or Bingo. Rather than houses and hotels, you have a "token" that matches the color of your player, which you place on properties you purchase. The properties are inventive, anything from the Takeout shop, the Beach, and the Creek, to Bingo's Kindy and the Heelers' home -- you can own it all! "Chance" cards from original Monopoly are here replaced with CHATTERMAX CARDS!!! All directions are simple and easy to follow. It's super cute, and would be a great first "big kid game" for the Bluey lover in your life, maybe around ages 4-8. It would be a terrific gift, as well. Well worth the money for the fun and memories that we've made, honestly. This is the second Bluey-themed game that we own, and I swear I love them both!

This game is easy to play I have a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old and they love this game I recommend it

This was great for my older 4 year old! He has tried regular Monopoly in the past (I knew age wise it wasn't appropriate but he wanted to try) it was just too much and would end with him frustrated. The game play is perfect for him. The only money is One Dollarbucks so he only needed to count as many as he needed. He loved being able to buy the spots from his favorite episodes, Rug Island, Uncle Stripes Pool, etc. And the Chattermax cards would throw in some excitement but not be detrimental even if it was a negative one. (Only having to pay 2 Dollar bucks, etc.) I do wish the figures were slightly more detailed, the simplicity of them make them almost spooky looking. Also, I wish they found another/additional way to assign properties. You use tokens with your character on them and place them in the places you've bought. The problem being, even normal game play with a 4 year old, things tend to get knocked over and shifted around and we were having a hard time keeping track of who owned what. Overall it's a great step up from the other simple preschool games and the added Bluey theme made it more enjoyable for everyone!

Practical and easy to use. Easy gaming

My grandson's loved this game. They are five and seven - everybody loved playing, even the adults too!

Looks just like the pictures, it's a very watered down version of monopoly to make it playable for 4 year olds. My daughter loved it, but realized too quickly that the one who concentrates the most expensive places can easily win. I like the one dollar bills, so she can practice handling money in a very easy way.

Simplified version of monopoly that's very easy to explain and play with 7 year old that loves Bluey (we both do), without losing their attention or being too complicated for them to understand. Rules are easy to explain, and the game will not drag on. Wish there were less cardboard in the tokens, but no other complaints.

Bought this game for 5 year old grandson. He loved it and learned how to play very quickly. I thought they did a great job keeping the spirit of the original game, but making it easier for the younger players. I thought that the Bluey version was very cute and fun. The only issue is the tokens are cheap and hard to keep track of, especially with young kids.

Box for the game is damaged. Bought as a gift.

Great game to start children on monopoly and to learn to deal with money! Bluey certainly helps and even got the parents quite keen!

I bought the "Monopoly Junior: Bluey Edition Board Game for Kids Ages 5+, Play as Bluey, Bingo, Mum, and Dad, Features and have found it genuinely useful. This has been a useful purchase and a welcome addition to everyday life. It is practical, easy to use, and does exactly what I hoped it would. I am very happy with it.
