Only one of them would transfer data after that. Well, for <$20 I installed this card and now have both front USB ports working again, along with additional ports in the back. Honestly, the install took less than 10 minutes. No drivers needed on Windows 11. It couldn't have been easier. Review: Made up for blocked sata ports. Reliable unit. - Works well, older bios reads it as bootable drive. I built an older system as a media pc/ and virtual server/hyper v mule (CIS student). When I added a full size GFX card to the microatx board, it pretty much made the sata ports unusable. I managed to squeeze the primary ssd connector, and the rest (3) I routed to the card. Doesn't seem to reduce speed, 1 ssd and two older (circa 2008) mirrored 5400 laptop HDDs on it. I am able to get 100mb/s off the mirrored 5400s which I definetly won't complain about. No speed loss on the SSD it seems (sata 3.0 mobo).
