I purchased this with the intent to hide away a Raspberry Pi that I access remotely and keep it protected from dust, kids, cats and what not. However, this thing is so cool that I just can't bear hiding it away. I had no interest in the neat colorful blinky lights either, until I plugged them in. Ok, it's really cool looking and now has it's own mini monitor too. My hide away remotely accessed Pi is now a mini desktop computer on my coffee table. Is it the direction I started heading? No, not at all. Is it the coolest thing on the coffee table. Yes, yes it is. Will it stay there? Possibly.I guess the take away here is, it's well made, way cooler than the pictures led me to believe and the fan is a little loud. Not excessive compared to other fans this size, but if it's the only little fan you have running in the room you will notice it.
