I WAS NOT EXPECTING...
... this to work. I have one of those pop-up plugs that are operated by turning a rotary knob on the bath wall under the taps. This operates a small lever under the bath that lifts the 'mushroom-type' plug with the long metal shaft. The lever had broken and so I had glued a small sucker to the plug so I could lift it. It worked just fine but the plug was no longer holding the water properly so I was looking for a very specific alternative that would suit my set-up as I wasn't prepared to start removing bath panels and I can't afford to have someone come out. Well, this is perfect. I imagined that either it wouldn't seal properly or it else would be too deep to fit in what was there but I am delighted to report that it does the job just fine and I don't lose my bath water ! It is also much easier to lift than a glued suction cup. I should mention that the item comes disassembled (with no instructions) but it is a very straightforward affair (washer underneath). I would suggest that you do not overtighten the bolt, though. And that's pretty much it. If it ceases to function as it should then, as is my wont, I shall update this review accordingly... FV

Does what you expect. So, great.
It’s a bath plug. It does what a bath plug is supposed to do. It doesn’t need a chain. It looks nice. Needless to say I am over the moon with it

Does the job
Brought this to replace our broken bath plug and fits perfectly, the quality is okay but not sure how long it will last.

Happy
Yeah, happy enough.

Too small for a standard bath plug, too big for a basin plug
I thought this would be all in one piece but you have to screw the bits together. The edge of the plug is sharp metal and not at all well finished. I would have smoothed it down with a bit of fine wet and dry but as it doesn’t fit anyway (too small for a standard bath plug fitting and yes I did measure it first) it isn’t worth the hassle. Can’t be bothered to send it back.
