Is the door 15 x 20 or is the frame 15 x 20? We are looking at this to replace medicine cabinet door.

Hi, Thank you for your interest in our SeaTeak Teak Louvered Door and Frame. The Frame dimensions. L 12 W12 H.25 and the Door L10.5 W10.5 H.25. Please let us know if you need anything else. Thank you,

What hinges are required?

You will need to know what the off set distance is for the model louver door you are purchasing. I think I remember that two sizes are available. With that information you will be able to purchase the correct size off set hinges. In my case I bought stainless steel off set hinges manufactured for Sea Dog. I have installed at least a dozen of the louver doors in my recent boat renovation project. These are great louver doors that are well made. They are a bargain for the price. I hope this info helps you. Neil

is there a installation diagram with measurments?

Steven, No, there is no install diagram with measurements. I would measure my door for you but it is in an application several miles from my current location. The narrower non- louvered portion of front of the door is about 2.5 inches wide. The wider non-louvered portion were close to 4” wide. I hope that helps.

What is the actual edge to edge size of the louvered door as I don't plan on using the frame.

To be clear, the door recess dimension is 12 1/4" square on my nominal 15"x 15" overall door and frame. The recess of the frame is 14" x 14" which was perfect for my project.

So-so quality, arrived damaged

Arrived quickly and we’ll packaged, however the corner was broken and although I messaged the seller no response so I ended up using gorilla glue and fixing myself with some clamps.Other than that the actually item is reasonable quality for the price and replaced a rotten door on my classic Boston Whaler to which is blended fairly well with the original although much thinner teak.Time will tell if it holds up to salt water but I have oiled it from the outset

Looks good - covers up the wall opening

Used it to cover a open space in a wall, because it was the correct size. It came with a cheap handle, but I upgraded to a nicer one, and it looks great.

Left Opening and Right Opening Doors Are Not exactly The Same Size

Listed as the same size, required cut out is the same, but the frames of the doors are slightly different. Makes for a mis-matched installation.
