Esembly Cloth Diaper Inner - Organic Cotton, 3-Pack, Size 2 (18-35lbs)

I used pocket diapers and pre folds with my first kids so I only found these after I started cloth diapering my one-year-old twins (babies 5&6). I am in love! I got these little covers really cheap on Amazon (pictured) and they work amazing! Reasons these diapers are amazing: -They are like a pre fold in that they are 100% organic cotton but WAY easier to use (no folding or messing with a clasp. - They provide all the convenience of a pocket diaper but you don’t have to stuff it! - They are very absorbent and so far do not leak. - They are plain white so they work with both gender baby and you can pass them down and just buy new inexpensive covers if you want to change things up! A few minor complaints: -They aren’t as versatile in sizes. Pocket diapers and pre folds you can shrink down to fit a newborn but you have to buy different sizes with these. -You have to wash a few times before they really get absorbent and they take a bit longer to dry because it is all one piece. -They are also not as versatile as a pre fold or a pocket because you cannot add absorbent layers. (Hasn’t bothered me so far. I just have some pocket diapers to use if I need to do that) -They aren’t the cheapest option but I think adding a pack or two to your stash is a worthwhile investment. If you are thinking about trying these just do it! I don’t often take the time to review products but to help other mammas I will! *As a bonus side note, I use the same little waterproof covers with some plain white organic cotton training pants I got on Walmart.com so I will continue to use the covers over underwater through potty training and over the diapers at night!

My wife and I have tried many different brands and styles of cloth diapers and training underwear and these are by far our go to, they're very absorbent and seem to fit our baby quite well, other brands it seems end up leaking pee out of them unfortunately. Keep up the great work Esembly!

LOVE THESE! We only cloth diaper part-time. I used to CD with pockets, but HATED stuffing them, and daughter kept ending up with a rash (thinking from the synthetic linings). PROS: organic cotton, convenient, fits my 15 mo well. Haven't had any leaks yet. Lovely eco-friendly option. Very well-made. CONS: the stitching that hold the "insert" part down, can be a little difficult to get poo out of. They are a little pricey, but I think the quality balances out fairly well. Overall, a great cloth option. I've seen people complain in their reviews about having to put on the inner, and then the outer. Yes, but if you don't want to do that, choose a different type of cloth diapering system lol. (Pockets, AIO, etc)

I want to love these cloth diapers because they are way less bulky than many cloth diaper options but there are only two sizes to choose from. The inner absorbing layers are only stitched in a few spots down the middle which makes the pad bunch and fold up and when baby poops the poo goes throughout the pads rather than simply staying within one padded area. Why not stitch around the whole inner pad!!?? It would make such a difference to be able to use through the growing stages and for cleaning. So for size one (7lbs-17lbs) When baby is newborn the diaper is way too big until baby reaches around 10lbs or so and then doesn’t start fitting more fitted and well (meaning without the inner pad bunching) until the last few weeks as baby begins to outgrow the diaper. My boy was 6lbs when born … and I didn’t like using these diapers. Once he got bigger, I started liking them more because they are a minimal cloth so they aren’t bulky under clothes. He is just now getting into the next size and I decided to buy the size 2 (18-35lbs) because he was fitting so well in the size one … BUT I didn’t think of how awkward they would be again. So, he now is at the beginning weight range of the size 2 diapers and once again… the inner lining is bunching and his poops squish all over if I don’t catch right away. So now it’s dealing with a growing phase into these again. The size jump is drastic . . See pic. When accommodating such a wide weight gap. I do use another brand osocozy (both the snap diapers and the prefolds) and elimination communication. They all absorb way better. Again, I want to love these because they are minimal and the fabric is soft, but the fit is strange at first, the padding bunches, and the absorption doesn’t hold well.
