What information should I know about the Zacurate 500BL Pulse Oximeter to ensure I get accurate readings?

In the product details section of this webpage, please refer to the application guide, product documentation, troubleshoot guide and quick start guide for important details to know before using this item and ensure the item gives accurate readings.

Does movement of any kind affect the product's ability to provide an accurate reading?

Yes, movement of any kind can lead the device to display inaccurate readings. It is important to use the device as specified in the application guide, product documentation, troubleshoot guide and quick start guides.

What are normal oxygen saturation levels?

The normal reading for blood oxygen is typically in the 95-100 range. However, there are certain conditions where this may not apply. Your doctor will be in the best position to advice where your readings should be.

Can I check my readings while I am exercising?

Any movement can cause the device to reset its readings. If you are in the middle of exercising, we advise to take readings during resting phases while the body is not mobile. If you have finished, wait 10-15 minutes before taking a reading.

Why does the reading fluctuate and why is the reading different on different fingers?

It is normal and natural for your SpO2 and Pulse rate to fluctuate as the amount of arterial blood pulses and changes with each heartbeat. A ±3 fluctuation in your SpO2 is considered normal.
